Not only do we take great pride in our farming techniques, we also enjoy state-of-the-art packing, cooling, and warehousing facilities. Built in 2001, Astin Strawberry Exchange is the receiving, shipping, sales and marketing branch of Astin Farms. Once produce is harvested, it is rushed to our warehouse where it is packed or inspected. It is then put directly into forced air pre-cooling tunnels where it is cooled to optimum holding temperatures to assure freshness, quality and maximum shelf-life. From there our temperature controlled cooling facility maintains product temperature until it is shipped to our customers. Following Good Manufacturing Practices, we strive to maintain excellence in production, and we are committed to ensuring that our products are handled with the utmost care.
